Colab Companies Well Represented at Podcamp Nashville 2011
PodCamp is the ultimate symposium for anyone – novice and expert – interested in online media to share ideas, hear from industry leaders, and participate in discussions and demonstrations.
2011 marked the fourth year of this highly popular event and over 600 attendees flocked to Cadillac Ranch in downtown Nashville. Podcamp is all about what is new and what is working and Colab, Nashville’s first co-working space, was proud to be a sponsor.
Colab today is home to over 30 small companies and over 20 freelancers and many were involved in presenting, volunteering and blogging about Podcamp.
Kate O’Neill, CEO of Meta Marketer, a well known Nashville SEO firm and early Colab-based company, gave a presentation on Cathartic Blogging – How your Blog can Help Define Your Story to a packed audience at the end of the day. To read her blog on her Podcamp expereince, click here:
Thomas Scott, CEO of Brand Journalists, a PR and social media firm on the 3rd floor of Colab that is working with a wide range of franchise companies, wrote this blog about some of the sessions his team attended:
