Calling all WordPressers!

Starting in December, CoLab will be host to the Nashville WordPress Meetup. Scott McIntosh created the group in October for people who work with WordPress or are interested in the WordPress platform.

Scott was inspired to create this meetup due to the tremendous response after the WordPress presentation by Mitch Canter at the NashvilleTech meetup group. There is a high demand for WordPress knowledge in Nashville, and there are already a lot of bloggers in Nashville already using WordPress. Scott wanted to bring all the WordPressers together.

For the December meetup, Peter Mancini will be giving a presentation on plug-in use and answering any questions people have. The WordPress meetup is still getting new, so  many topics come up during the discussion. Fortunatly, there are many wordPress experts at the meetings for specific questions the WordPressers may have. In the future, the goal is to have a presenter for each meeting  talk about a WordPress subject they are knowledgeable on, so Scott is looking for speakers and presenters who would like to  contribute.

CoLab has been a location for several meetup groups. CoLab has a great location and presentation space, therefore ideal for Scott and the WordPress meetup.
